How I Started to Make Money Online

It was June 2018, and I graduated from college. I graduated with a course in Business Administration, nothing fancy.

Like some fresh graduates, I took it easy and rested for months. I also searched and applied online for jobs in JobStreet.

Eventually, one of the biggest banks in the country invited me for an interview.

It was in Baguio City.

To cut the story—I didn’t get the job.

Why?

  • My academic records were average.
  • I didn’t know anyone in the company.
  • I didn’t research enough about the company.

Anyway, I was down for quite a while.

I spent most of my time online where I found out about the existence of freelancing.

I signed up in the different freelancing platforms immediately.

Long story short, I’ve made around P170,000 now from freelancing since I started in October 2018.

Not bad for a fresh graduate with no connections, no fancy degrees and few skills, right?

Looking back, I am grateful that I didn’t get the bank job that I applied for.

Now, I’m still not rich but what’s the point of telling you all this?

To brag?

Of course not. I’m here to inspire you so you can do the same.

In fact, the whole reason I started this blog is to help my fellowmen.

I always see many people either unemployed or working for pennies.
