These are the steps on how to redeem points in Smart:
Step 1: Open the Smart GigaLife app on your smartphone.
Step 2: Click on the giftbox icon beside your points.
Step 3: Check the promo that you want under Most Popular or All Items.
Step 4: Tap on the promo product and click Redeem with the corresponding points.

You just need to have P1 mobile load which will be spent per transaction.
Does Smart GigaPoints expire?
Yes, Smart GigaPoints will not last more than 1 year if left unredeemed.
If you earn them today, they can expire in as short as 6 months up to 9 months.
This is because of the Expiry Policy, which states that there are four quarters in a year where you can earn your Smart Rewards points.
From the last day of that quarter, your points are set to expire after 6 months.
So if you earned your GigaPoints on January 01, 2022, those points are earned in the first quarter of the year ending in March 31, 2022.
They will expire six months after, which is on September 30, 2022.
