What is the Pag-IBIG MDF?
The Pag-IBIG MDF or Member’s Data Form is used to register for Pag-IBIG Fund Membership.
It can automatically be generated if you sign up through the Pag-IBIG website, or you can request a printed copy from the nearest Pag-IBIG branch.
It contains various details such as Occupational Status, Membership Category, Personal Details, Address and Contact Details, Present Employment Details, Previous Employment, and Heirs.
Upon successful submission of the application via Pag-IBIG Online Registration, you can get it.
How to get Pag-IBIG MDF online for membership applicants
If you are applying for Pag-IBIG Fund membership, don’t forget to follow these steps to get your MDF:
Step 1: Go to https://www.pagibigfundservices.com/PubReg/Starter_Page.aspx.
Step 2: Click on Continue.
Step 3: Enter your last name, first name, middle name, date of birth, and the captcha code.
Step 4: Click the Submit button
Step 5: Continue to fill out the extensive list of personal information.
Step 6: Once you have gone through all the tabs, go to the Summary tab and click on Submit Registration.
Step 7: On the Successful Registration Page, click the Print MDF button.
Your MDF should download automatically, but you should disable the block pop-ups setting just in case the file does not continue downloading.
Also, you can print the blank MDF and fill in the required information before you submit it to a Pag-IBIG branch.
They will encode your information and provide you with a printed copy of your MDF.
How to get MDF for existing Pag-IBIG members
If you are an existing member and you do not have a copy of your MDF, you can follow these steps on how to get Pag-IBIG MDF:
Step 1: Take note of your Pag-IBIG MID number or RTN.
Step 2: Go to the Pag-IBIG Branch, where you are the nearest.
Step 3: Provide your Pag-IBIG MID or RTN and one valid ID to the staff.
Step 4: Wait for the issuance of a printed copy of your MDF.
How to get Pag-IBIG MDF online for existing members
If you are a current member of Pag-IBIG Fund and you want to get a copy of your MDF but you cannot go to a branch, you can also request it online:
Step 1: Open the email app or website on your device or browser.
Step 2: Compose a new email.
Step 3: Type contactus@pagibigfund.gov.ph as the email address of the recipient.
Step 4: Indicate the message’s subject that you would like to request for your MDF.
Step 5: In the contents, don’t forget to put the greetings, salutation, and your request.
Step 6: Check whether you have provided the needed details.
Step 7: Attach a scanned copy or picture of your valid ID.
Step 8: Click Send.

Can I make a handwritten copy of my MDF?
You can fill out a blank MDF if you have the complete details regarding your membership, which you can download here: https://www.pagibigfund.gov.ph/document/pdf/dlforms/providentrelated/PFF039_MembersDataForm_V08.pdf.
Before doing so, ask your employer if they need the copy provided by Pag-IBIG, or you can fill out a blank form.
You can also fill out the pdf document using Adobe Acrobat or Adobe Fill & Sign.
Just make sure to check double the information that you have supplied to the document.
Is RTN different from Pag-IBIG MID Number?
RTN or Registration Tracking Number is different from Pag-IBIG MID number.
Once you have just registered as a new member of the Pag-IBIG Fund, you will be given the RTN, which is temporary until you are given the permanent Pag-IBIG MID number.
It has the same 12-digit format as the Pag-IBIG MID number, and it can be used for paying contributions and other transactions until you receive your permanent MID.
When is the Pag-IBIG MID Number being issued?
You can verify the issuance of your Pag-IBIG MID Number as early as two days after registering as a new Pag-IBIG Fund member.
If you are claiming your printed MDF at a Pag-IBIG branch three days after registration, your MID number will also be indicated on your MDF.
Do I need an appointment to get MDF at Pag-IBIG Branch?
You can currently walk into a Pag-IBIG branch for any transaction, but note that your MDF can only be issued three days after online registration.
If you decide to register as a member by submitting a filled-out MDF, there is no guarantee that you can get your validated or printed MDF that includes your MID number on the same day.
Pag-IBIG will launch the #SanaAll appointment system this April 2022, which should improve all transactions across all Pag-IBIG services.
Hopefully, this would make it easier to process documents and applications and may not require you to visit a physical Pag-IBIG branch to claim a document.
How long does it take for Pag-IBIG to issue MDF?
If you are a new applicant, you can get your MDF as soon as you have accomplished the online form.
If you requested via email, it would be about three days from when your message has been acknowledged.
There may be additional days depending on the volume of emails Pag-IBIG receives and needs to respond to.
If you go to a Pag-IBIG branch, you can request your MDF within that same day.

Do I need to renew my Pag-IBIG MDF?
Yes, you need to renew or update it as soon as there has been any change in the information provided in the MDF.
You need to use the MCIF or Member’s Change of Information Form and submit it to a Pag-IBIG branch to make the update.
Before you do so, try sending an email to see if it will do to save time and effort.
Some examples wherein you need to update your member information were when you changed employers, employment status, civil status, etc.
Reasons why you do not have an MDF
The most common reason why a Pag-IBIG member “does not have” an MDF is that they do not have the original one, as it may have been lost, submitted as a requirement, etc.
If you applied online, it might mean that you forgot to download a copy of it, or you have experienced technical difficulties.
The data for the MDF will always be in the records of Pag-IBIG, so you can request a copy of it just in case you need one.
What is the purpose of the Pag-IBIG MDF?
The MDF serves as proof of your registration as a Pag-IBIG member.
You only technically become a Pag-IBIG member once the first contribution under your account is posted.
You can also request for an MDF to check if your membership data is up to date, that is, to see if any information is outdated.
New employers may request your TRN, MID number, or the MDF to use the HR.
This is similar to your PMRF from PhilHealth being requested, even if you can provide your PhilHealth number.
How much is the fee for requesting MDF from Pag-IBIG branch?
There is no fee to get your printed Member’s Data Form from the Pag-IBIG branch.
